Sword of the Stranger (ストレンヂア 無皇刃譚, Sutorenjia Mukō Hadan) est un film d’animation japonais réalisé par Masahiro Andō et produit par le studio d'animation Bones, avec une musique de Naoki Sato.
SYNOPSIS
Ce récit se déroulant du temps et dans le Japon féodal narre la rencontre d'un jeune orphelin fuyant des mercenaires à la solde de l'empereur de Chine et d'un samourai ayant remisé son sabre au fourreau, et relate l'histoire d'amitié qui en naîtra et les liera.
OPINION PERSONNELLE SUR CE FILM
Une belle histoire, un scénario clair et sincère, de beaux affrontements à l'arme blanche bien scénarisés, deux protagonistes charismatiques et entiers, une atmosphère et des décors immersifs, un "coup de crayon" à la fois racé, précis et subtil, le tout agrémenté d'une partition instrumentale symphonique avec un très joli thème musical principal.
Je regrette vraiment de ne pas avoir pu voir ce film d'animation sur un écran de cinéma.
Avertissement : cet animé reste destiné à un public averti en raison du tranchant et du saignant des combats.
